Rather than post-bonding a rim around a flat or lenticular disc, we've incorporated our patented toroidal rim shape and used our proprietary M2CM technology to increase strength while reducing drag around the interface of aluminum and carbon. For long course triathletes, the bulged cross-section offers a comfortable vertical compliance that can reduce fatigue during long stretches in the saddle.

At just 936g with a cassette hub, the 900 is more than light enough for the hilliest triathlon or time trial courses. Swap the road setup for a track configuation, and the same wheel is ready for action at the highest levels of the sport. Now that's versatility.

In the center of the aero "sweet spot" – a wind angle of 12 to 18 degrees – the Zipp Sub-9 was the first wheel ever to produce forward lift, when paired with our 21mm Tangente tire. This makes it the ideal choice for long-course triathletes to bounce out of T2 with fresh legs after a blistering bike split.

The new Super-9 disc excels in races won on full-throttle power. Intended for time trials, track racing, and the occasional Tour de France prologue, the Super-9 is stiffer than our 900 disc and matches the Sub-9’s remarkable ability to generate forward lift when paired with our Tangente tire.

To create its distinctive monocoque dome and airfoil arms, manufacturing each VumaChrono requires over 100 steps and takes an experienced worker almost half a day. The breakthrough shape and a massive 30mm aluminum spindle make the VumaChrono by far the stiffest crankset we’ve ever tested while keeping its assembled weight to just 860g including the bottom bracket (172.5mm, 53/39).

Weighing as little as 580 grams, it's the lightest crankset and bottom bracket system ever to pass the rigorous CEN testing protocol for racing bikes. But the true brilliance of the VumaQuad is that Zipp’s engineers were able to achieve that benchmark with a design that’s stiffer than any other crankset we’ve tested, except for our own VumaChrono.

Available in four lengths from 170-180mm with 53/39 or 50/34 chainrings. Replacement chainrings are also available.

Zipp have used ABEC 5 bearing races which run on ceramic bearings to reduce mechanical drag to a minimum.

One of our most popular bars. The best bars we have found which are clip compatible. These work great with the VukaClip and extensions for those looking to upgrade their road bikes to a time trial or triathlon setup. The traditional bend and short shallow bend are the most popular. Our recommendation is the short shallow option in combination with the VukaClip for triathlon setup in which enables you to lower your bars for the clip on setup to enable good position using the aero bars as well as shallower drop for more comfort on the drops.

The perfect match for Zipp Clincher wheels

This so called "Open Tubular" (really a clincher tyre) is one of the best clincher tyres we have used. Very supple and lightweight with low rolling resistance and a 21mm width is the perfect race (or indeed training) tyre for Zipp wheels. Looks and rides great. Basically this is the Zipp version of the Vittoria Open Tubular tyre built to match Zipp wheels (dimpled tread pattern).

Great upgrade to the standard Zipp quick release skewers to save that last bit of weight!

Our brake pads of choice for both carbon and aluminium rims

Working with the leading brake producer for Formula 1 race teams, Zipp engineered the first thermally conductive, low temperature brake pad for the bike market. Compared to traditional rubber pads, Zipp Carbon/Carbon Brake Blocks improve modulation, stopping power, and durability. Plus, they’re compatible with aluminum braking surfaces and the the Silica-ceramic surfaces of Zipp tubular rims.

Note: Brake pads sold in packs of 2 to fit SRAM, Shimano, or Campagnolo pad holders.
