The security that the boa closure system provides on our seat roll premio has been wildly popular among road cyclists all over the world so it only made sense to develop an option for gravel touring and mtn. Cyclists to experience the benefits of this technology and design.

while the increase in the size of the seat roll might have been an obvious solution we couldn't just stop at the obvious. We started this project with a test group of riders from various cycling disciplines and had them ride more than a dozen grande americano prototypes for more than 10 months. The primary focus of this group was to identify potential areas for improvement and opportunities to innovate. Our focus group consisted of gravel and mountain riders who require more space for larger tubes and a few road riders who wanted the ability to carry multiple inner tubes.

the result of this test led to a few unique updates to the original design. For starters we moved the boa system down to the lower third of the roll which helps keep the roll secure over the roughest surfaces while also keeping the bag 'high and tight' under the saddle so it doesn't rub your shorts. Next our designer created a unique lower pleat in the bottom of the roll which gives it the unique ability to expand when loaded while laying flat when unloaded. Lastly we increased the strength and tension of the vertical Axis strap to better support the load and ensure total silence and solidity over even the roughest surfaces. These refinements along with the overall increase in size make grande americano an extremely capable seat roll; and one that you can use with virtually any bike.

    Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
     
    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
     
    Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
     
    Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
     
    There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
     
    Book with obvious signs of use
    CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
    Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
     
    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
     
    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
     
    Exchanges (if applicable)
    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at rob@athleteservice.com and send your item to: Athlete Service Ltd, The Oast House, HENLEY-ON-THAMES, RG9 2AA, Oxfordshire.
     
    Gifts
    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
     
    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
     
    Shipping
    To return your product, you should mail your product to: Athlete Service Ltd, The Oast House, Greys Road Car Park, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 2AA.
     
    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
     
    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    Our Click & Collect service offers all the benefits of shopping online combined with specialist personal retail experience in one of our stores. Simply order your items, select Click & Collect and pick up your item at a time that's convenient for you. Best of all the service is completely FREE!

    1. Add your items to your basket

    Use our website to browse our catalogue of products with stock availability. When you find the item you want simply add it to your basket like you usually would.
     

    2. Checkout using Click & Collect

    Scroll down and choose Click & Collect as your delivery method. Enter your postcode at the checkout to find your closest store.
     

    3. Choose the store of your choice and collect your items

    Choose a store of your liking, click continue and complete the rest of our standard checkout steps and you’re ready to collect your item in store.

     

    Frequently Asked Questions

    When can I collect my order?

    For items in stock at the chosen collection store, we will normally have your item ready to collect within 1-2 working days.

    For items which are at the warehouse your order will be ready to collect in the time indicated on the website; or if at another store approximately 3 working days – please call in advance if you are making a long journey, just in case!

     

    How will I know when my order is ready?

    For every order we will send you an e-mail to let you know when your order is ready to collect. If you’ve ordered a bike we will contact you once you have placed your order to arrange a collection time.
     

    What do I need to collect my order?

    Please bring with you your confirmation e-mail, a photo proof of ID (i.e. passport, driving licence), and proof of address.

    We will hold your order in store for 10 days, if you have any problems with getting to the store to collect your order please feel free to contact the collection store and we will happily extend this time where possible.
     

    Can Someone Else Collect My Order?

    Please contact the store you have chosen to collect from in advance and we will do our best to accommodate any changes relating to collection. 
     

    How do I cancel/change my order?

    If you wish to cancel your order or make any changes please contact the store directly, contact information can be found here. Please note, full refunds will be made via the original transaction made with our online team.
